Copy Name from Object or Object Data

Description

Set the name of a Material to be the same as either an Object or Object Data it is linked to.

There must be only one Object or Object Data that uses this Material.

Options

  • Link source: the Material will use the name of either the Object or Object data, depending on which one it is linked to.

    A Material can be linked to either an Object or Object Data.

  • Object: the Material will use the Object name (even if it is linked to Object Data).

  • Object Data: the Material will use the Object Data name (even if it is linked to Object).
